Good afternoon girls and boys!
I can’t believe it! Rudolph has fully recovered from his frightening experience of the past week. The concentrated nutrients have worked their magic, and Rudolph is 100% ready to fly, and lead the sleigh like he’s done countless times.
All the elves are excited, and the North Pole is once again bustling with excitement as we we’re just a few hours shy of our departure. The sack has been loaded with all the presents; the naughty and nice list has been nicely folded in case I need to check it on my flight; and North Pole Square is quickly filling up with elves who will watch me leave tonight.
And everyone’s in a buzz for another reason as well: Even though Rudolph is 100% healthy to fly, I’ve asked Twiggy to come along for the ride. I don’t want another scare like I had this past week, and I always want us to be ready to deliver all the gifts and spread joy around the world. I’ve asked Rudolph to mentor Twiggy on this ride, so that she may have experience in case I need her in coming years. Today is a historic day indeed. It marks the first time that I’ll have a female reindeer leading my sleigh.
And on that note, I have to finish my final preparations. Today is always an exciting day, and I can’t wait to start the trip. i’ll be tired when I get back, so you probably won’t hear from me for several days. And with that, I wish you and your loved ones a merry little Christmas!
