Hi boys and girls,
I just heard about a book called, The Real Deal: The Diary of Santa. I have yet to read it. If any of you have please tell me what you thought about it.
Here is an article I read about it online.

During the winter Santa may be seen riding his sleigh but on Sunday he will be cruising Laurens Street in his white 1969 Cadillac convertible.
Spectators for the Aiken Horsepower Association monthly cruise-in are in for a treat.
Proclaiming himself as one of the top Santas in the country, Arthur J. Usher will spend his Sunday afternoon with his new club members while signing copies of his first novel, “The Real Deal: The Diary of Santa.”
“It’s a Santa Claus book for grown-ups,” he said. “This book is going to really be special.”
Originally from Savannah, Ga., Usher has posed as Santa Claus for the past 13 years at the Burlington Mall in Boston. The book is a story about his experiences and a few miracles, he said.
His purpose is to encourage people to believe in something positive.
“With the war going on, terrorists and things like that, we just need something good to believe in,” Usher said. “I just love to make people happy.”
Usher, who currently lives in North Augusta, recently retired after 38 years with Norfolk Southern Railroad. Usher said he not only looks like but he is Santa all year around.
“It doesn’t matter what I wear, I never get out of character,” he said.
With an interest in older model cars, he is also the owner of a 1978 Mark 5 Lincoln and a newer 2002 red Thunderbird convertible.
Books will be available to purchase at the cruise-in for $15. Copies are also available online at Amazon.com and Books-A-Million.
The Aiken Horsepower Association Cruise-In will be held from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Laurens Street and will move to O’Charley’s on Whiskey Road at 4 p.m. The association will also participate in the car show Saturday at the Western Carolina State Fairgrounds from 1 to 5 p.m.
